Alright, fellow babies! It’s time for the percussion section in your town to GET DOWN! "Opus #1: Disco Penguin" was written for young percussionists who may be experiencing percussion ensemble playing for their first time. The composition features achievable independent parts coupled with the challenges of playing those parts within the context of an ensemble. This work is a fun entrée into the quickly expanding universe of percussion ensembles dedicated to flightless water fowl.
